How to Show Hidden Files & Folders in Windows 11 & 10

Enable hidden items in Windows File Explorer view tab to easily browse your user AppData directory.

Open Windows File Explorer

Press Win + E to open File Explorer or click the folder icon on your taskbar.

In Windows 11: Click "View" → "Show"

In the top command bar, click View, hover over Show, and check Hidden items.

In Windows 10: Check "Hidden Items" on View Tab

Click the View tab in the ribbon toolbar, and check the box labeled Hidden items in the Show/hide section.

Navigate Directly to C:\Users\[Username]\AppData

AppData will now appear as a semi-transparent folder under your user profile, allowing seamless manual navigation.
